Heading West | 2,000 miles away from home

22 days, 19 states, over 8,000 miles, and 3 best friends. What started as a summer trip out west became a chance to see some of the most incredible places in America, spend time in brotherhood, and make memories we’ll still be talking about years from now. We started in Nashville and made our way west to Wyoming to see the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, then headed north through Montana and Washington to visit Glacier and North Cascades for the first time. From Seattle, we made our way down the Oregon coast to Cannon Beach before continuing through California and Utah, stopping at Yosemite and Zion along the way. We finished the trip in the desert at Monument Valley before making the long drive back to Nashville - 22 days and a whole lot of miles later… I think it’s important to say that this film isn’t meant to be a travel guide or a list of places to see. It’s a project I’ve wanted to make for as long as I can remember, and more than anything, it’s a living memory of life on the road, the places we went, the good, the bad, the ugly, and most importantly, the brothers I got to experience it all with. I know it's not perfect. The audio might be bad, some transitions might be a little off, and there are probably a hundred things I could’ve done better. But that’s not really the point. I wanted to make something my friends and I could look back on years from now and remember the simpler, more freeing times of our lives, and hopefully one day, show our kids the memories and people that shaped us. So anyways, thanks for watching. I put over 100 hours into making this, so I hope you stick around until the end because I promise it's pretty freakin cool.
