The investigation into Nolan Wells’ death is entering another critical phase — but some of the most important evidence is still out of public view.
Attorney Tyler Cox says investigators separately questioned Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour, obtained location information, and later examined their phones through the FBI. But what did investigators actually find?
That question remains unanswered publicly.
The state autopsy has been completed, but its findings have not yet been released. According to the Jackson County District Attorney, the report is expected to go before a grand jury before the findings are made public.
Meanwhile, Nolan Wells’ independent autopsy did not establish a definitive cause or manner of death, leaving the circumstances surrounding his death unresolved.
And now, the case has expanded beyond the investigation itself.
Attorneys representing Nolan's friends have taken legal action against Reverend Al Sharpton, accusing him of making defamatory statements about their clients. Sharpton has rejected the demand and disputed the allegations concerning what he said.
So where does the Nolan Wells case stand right now?
