This week The Urban Monk has better luck building the mold for his cafe racer's custom fiberglass seatpan and cowl. He continues to let the "Divine Proportion" or "Golden Ratio" of 1.618 drive decisions around proportions and he believes the result is good. This video details gluing the florist's foam blocks, sculpting the mold, and edging the seat pan with rubber tubing to create an edge to cradle the upholstery work.
