I never intended to go this long without an upload but that's the way things go sometimes. I just wanna take a moment to again thank each and every one of you for such an incredible year so far despite a slower upload schedule. We've hit so many milestones this year I never imagined possible and I seriously can't tell you how grateful I am for the support, and knowing I've got people out there that genuinely enjoy the music I create. Now on to the song! I've spoken before about how Nightwish is an extremely important band to me. I've known about them for about as long as I've been a musician but I didn't really get INTO them until 2019, which was by many accounts the worst year of my life. I'm not gonna get into the hows and whys but Nightwish and other bands in the genre like Delain, Within Temptation, etc, helped pull me out of an extremely dark place and helped me find myself again when everything else around me was crashing down. They've had an enormous influence on me as a musician but I haven't yet had the opportunity to capitalize on that as a Voca-P, so this cover was one LONG overdue! I hope you enjoy it! I'm sure it won't be the last time I do a Nightwish song, especially hearing how Gumi sounds singing it. She absolutely blew me away as I was working on this song. Gumi SV2 remains my favorite voicebank by a mile. She just does everything, and I love her for it. Anyway, you're not gonna have to wait 3 months for my next upload, I promise!
