Autumn Night in an Old Vermont Farmhouse 🍂 Crackling Fireplace & Simmering Kettle

Supper is over and the farmhouse is quiet. The old iron kettle simmers over the fire, the oil lamp glows on the table and the cider is still warm. Outside, the sugar maple has turned red and a soft rain drifts past the dark barn. Settle in for three quiet hours of crackling fireplace and a gently simmering kettle on an autumn night in New England, for reading, studying, relaxing or drifting off to sleep. — 🔥 Crackling log fire in a fieldstone fireplace 🫖 An iron kettle simmering over the flames 🍎 An oil lamp, warm cider and soft rain far outside — #fireplaceambience #cozyautumn #fireplacesounds #vermont #fourseasonshearth
