HOW REPENTANCE RESTORES GOD'S POWER || BISHOP DAVID ODENDE || SUNDAY SERVICE || 12.07.2026

How Repentance Restores God's Power | Sunday Service | Bishop David Odende What is standing between you and the power of God? Could it be that the greatest obstacle is not around you—but within you? In this powerful message, Bishop David Odende reveals that repentance is not a sign of weakness—it is the doorway to God's presence, His power, and His transforming grace. The Bible teaches that "the mind governed by the flesh is death," but those who turn to Christ find forgiveness, restoration, and new life. Sin does more than separate us from God—it hinders His anointing, weakens our spiritual walk, and keeps us from experiencing the fullness of His purpose. But through genuine repentance, every chain can be broken, every curse can be lifted, and every barrier to God's power can be removed. In this sermon, you will discover: Why the flesh is constantly at war with the Spirit. How repentance restores your relationship with God. Why sin blocks God's anointing and spiritual growth. Why not every trial is meant to destroy you—some are opportunities for God's glory to be revealed. The four spiritual stones that hinder God's miracles: doubt, fear, anxiety, and sin. How Jesus Christ calls us out of spiritual death into a life of victory and purpose. Just as Jesus called Lazarus out of the grave, He is still calling people today to leave behind the grave clothes of sin, fear, and unbelief. No matter how far you have fallen, God's mercy is greater. One sincere act of repentance can restore what sin has stolen and reignite His power in your life. This message is a call to examine your heart, return to God, and experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
