I miss going to the movies, getting something to eat, and cooking whatever he brought over for the barbecue. He was a big kid, always working on another get-rich-quick plan. Right now, I’d love to sit there and hear him explain another one. On my last day of work, I thought, “I should go see Eldon.” Then I remembered. “It’s Too Soon” came from looking at his picture, reading our old conversations, and trying to put that moment into music.
