Hokkaido solo trip. I walked along the coast, side by side with a sixty-something “ojichan.” Talking about this and that in life, letting the words mix with the sea wind. In an unfamiliar town, we jumped into a quietly atmospheric old inn, with no plans, no schedule—just living fully in that one day. It was really wonderful. I’m definitely coming back.
