NEVER GENERALISE GOD’S WORD! FIND YOUR WORD. FOLLOW IT. 📖 Matthew 15:27–28 Moses stood before the Red Sea, and God gave him a specific instruction: “Lift up your rod.” (Exodus 14:16) Joshua faced a similar situation, but God gave him a different instruction. This time, the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant had to step into the Jordan first. (Joshua 3:13) Same God. Similar obstacle. Different instructions! Then came the Syrophoenician woman. Jesus’ initial response appeared to exclude her from the blessing, but she refused to give up. She pressed beyond the initial answer, responded in faith, and received the word she needed. Her daughter was delivered! (Matthew 15:27–28) Here is the lesson: never assume that another person’s instruction, experience, or outcome is automatically yours. What God instructed Moses to do was not what He instructed Joshua to do. The principle is not to copy another person’s method, but to seek God for His direction for your own situation. Do not build your expectations solely around what happened to someone else. Seek God. Search His Word. Listen for His direction. Stand in faith and obey what He shows you. DO NOT GIVE UP BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE RECEIVED A NO. Keep seeking. Keep believing. Keep pressing in faith. There is a Word for your situation, and you must be ready to recognise and follow it! 🙏 PRAYER: Father, give me the wisdom to discern Your direction for my life. Help me not to live by assumptions or another person’s experience. Open my eyes to understand Your Word and grant me the grace to obey Your instructions in faith, in Jesus’ name.
