Meet Ongeziwe “Zamacube” Mnto, a poet, host and executive member of Ingqayi Yesihobe. This documentary begins with Ongeziwe’s personal journey, exploring where Ongeziwe comes from, what shaped Ongeziwe’s voice and how poetry became part of Ongeziwe’s life. The story then builds towards Nothing But Poetry, a community gathering that brought together poets, artists and conversations about art, womanhood and dignity. The name Ingqayi Yesihobe carries the idea of a calabash of poetry: a vessel holding voices, stories, culture and community. Through performances, the event demonstrated how art and practical community care can share the same space.
