Outnumbered in the River, We Turned the Battle Around | Bannerlord

In Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, 51 Aserai Caravan Guards face a larger enemy force made up mostly of cavalry in a brutal fight through a forest river. The battle starts with the enemy immediately charging into our smaller force, using their cavalry to break apart our defensive line. Once the formation collapses, the fight quickly turns into close-quarters combat, with swords, spears, horses, and soldiers fighting directly in the shallow river. For a while, both sides trade heavy losses, but after taking down a large number of enemy cavalry, we discover another threat waiting at a distance: enemy archers firing into the fight. Instead of allowing them to keep supporting the enemy, we turn our attention toward them and launch a direct attack. This Bannerlord gameplay becomes a chaotic cavalry battle where being outnumbered doesn't necessarily mean defeat. Can the smaller force hold its ground and finish the fight?
