Abnormal load shuts down Brighton

Parts of Sussex brought to a standstill as two 300+ tonne transformers for the National Grid make their way from Shoreham Port to Ninfield Power Station with a police escort. Transport was provided by Alleley's Heavy Haulage. This is the first time in the UK that two transformers have been moved at the same time.
