The world of professional wrestling is attracting women who are keen to break stereotypes. North Queensland's peak wrestling body says more women are expressing interest in stepping into the ring for the first-time and becoming fans. At 158 cm tall, Wendy 'Ebony Angel' isn't your typical wrestler. She was inspired to join the performance-based sport after watching a live match in Townsville. After making her debut last year, she's become a permanent fixture on the scene, encouraging other women to reclaim the sport and showcase their athleticism. 📽 Video produced by Rachael Merritt and Baz Ruddick and edited by Josh Paddon.
