Every wedding we document has a story. Some are loud and extraordinary. Others quietly remind us that love doesn't need grand gestures; it simply needs two people who never stop choosing each other. This is Manasa and Vinay. Their story began in 2020, during the uncertainty of the pandemic. While Vinay was in Paris and Manasa was in the US, a mutual friend introduced them. What started as a simple conversation became years of long-distance love, where every message mattered, and every reunion was worth the wait. Seeing each other only once a year wasn't easy. But love has a way of making even the smallest moments unforgettable. Whether it was sneaking away to meet in India or dreaming about the life they wanted together, they kept choosing each other through every season. Eventually, life brought them both to Michigan, where they built a home together. Six years after that first message, forever felt like the most natural next step. One of our favorite parts of their story is how effortlessly their families embraced it. Vinay jokes that he wishes there had been at least a little drama, just so he could fight for the love of his life! Instead, he found another family, one that welcomed him with open arms. Today, he's especially close to Manasa's mother, a bond that's as heartwarming as their love story itself. When we asked Vinay what he loves most about Manasa, his answer wasn't about a single moment. It was about her presence. Through every good day and every difficult one, she stayed. He loves her laughter, her quirks, her playful side, her strength, and every version of the woman she is. As wedding photographers, these are the stories we love to tell, not just how a wedding looked, but why it mattered. On a beautiful lakeside backyard in Michigan, surrounded by their closest family and friends, Manasa and Vinay promised each other a lifetime.
