Historias Innecesarias: Selena Quintanilla - La historia completa

Viernes 31 de marzo de 1995. A las 11:48 de la mañana, en un motel en Texas, la puerta de una habitación se abre de golpe. Dentro, dos mujeres llevan un buen rato discutiendo. De repente, se escucha un estampido seco que un empleado de mantenimiento confunde con el escape de un auto. De la habitación sale corriendo una mujer joven a la que la bala le entró por la espalda y le cortó una arteria. Logra correr algunos metros hasta llegar al lobby, donde pide ayuda, se desploma sobre la alfombra y murmura las que serían sus últimas palabras: "Yolanda. Habitación 158. Cierren la puerta con llave. Me va a volver a disparar". Luego, llaman al 911. Pero cuando llega la ambulancia, la joven ya no tenía pulso. Esa mujer tiene 23 años y es la artista latina más grande de Estados Unidos. Se llama Selena Quintanilla. Tiene un Grammy en su casa y medio disco grabado en inglés que estaba a punto de convertirla en la primera superestrella pop mexicano-americana de la historia.
