Take Account Of Yourself

The khutbah emphasized that every human being will ultimately be confronted with his or her deeds. Our words, actions, intentions, relationships, and responsibilities will all be brought forward, and nothing will be hidden from Allah. Because of this reality, Sheikh Khalifah encouraged the congregation to regularly engage in self-accountability—muhasabah—while there is still time to repent, make corrections, seek forgiveness, and increase in good deeds.
