Measuring very high resistances or very small currents

I wanted to use a Keithley 410A Picoammeter to check the resistance of an Ohmite 1% 100 GΩ resistor. (RX-1M1009FE) Here is what didn't work and what did. Skip to 15:00 to go straight to the successful measurement.
