Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears || Conor McGinty

Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears - Conor McGinty. Written by Brendan Graham “Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears” is one of the most heartbreaking songs about emigration. It tells the story of the first person to enter America through Ellis Island - a young Irish girl named Annie Moore. It talks about Annie leaving everything behind and starting over in America. It compares Ireland: Isle of Tears & the Isle of Manhattan: Isle of Hope. I really hope you enjoy my version produced by Eamon Karran 🇺🇸🇮🇪
