Some nights become the light we carry across the darkest seas. 🍀🌊
BEFORE THE DAWN TAKES US AWAY is an Irish folk ballad about one last dance before departure — when the glasses are still full, the fire is still warm, and nobody is ready to say goodbye.
Inside an old harbour tavern, sailors and friends share stories, laughter and a little borrowed time. Outside, a ship waits quietly for the morning wind.
Inspired by the poem “Prima che l’alba ci porti via” by Miriam Prato, this English adaptation carries the warmth of that night out onto the open sea. Gentle vocals, flowing Celtic melodies and tender harmonies tell a story of friendship, farewell, and the places that stay with us long after we leave.
Because when the water turns black and the stars disappear, sometimes the memory of a familiar room is enough to bring us home.
