Are Open Mic Nights Worth It for Magicians?

I sit down with Tam to discuss lessons learned from performing magic at an open mic night and what we have picked up along the way. We talk about the unique challenges hobbyist magicians face when stepping onto a stage. It is not just about the tricks themselves, but about managing nerves and adapting to a live audience. Whether you are just starting out or have been practicing for a while, these insights into the reality of the craft are meant to help you grow. We also cover the practical side of learning magic tricks and how to refine your routines for better engagement. Getting on stage is intimidating, but it is one of the best ways to improve. Tam and I break down what worked for us and what did not during our recent sessions.
