Lyrics: Every day life throws me a curve Teaches a lesson that I gotta learn Every day life don’t go how I planned it But God made it for living Not understanding Instead of counting my thorns Think I’ll count more roses Ain’t doing no more Keeping up with the Jones’s When I wake up It’s better than it seems Think this whole time I’ve been living the dream Got it good, got it made Got a lot you can’t buy Got a wife, got some kids We’ve been keeping on the lights It’s some work It’s a grind Still I go to bed at night Thanking God every day for this everyday life Dishes for days Means mouths got fed Sheets on the line Means we all got a bed Shoes getting outgrown Mean shoes on their feet Every day life’s got a way of showing me Got it good, got it made Got a lot you can’t buy Got a wife, got some kids We’ve been keeping on the lights It’s some work It’s a grind Still I go to bed at night Thanking God every day for this everyday life This everyday life Oooo Don’t complicate it It’s all what you make it And we’re makin’ good times Oooo Greener grass is overrated I wouldn’t trade it Cause it wouldn’t be mine Got it good, got it made Got a lot you can’t buy Got a wife, got some kids We’ve been keeping on the lights It’s some work It’s a grind Still I go to bed at night Thanking God every day for this everyday life Yeah, this everyday life Yeah, this everyday life
