Vocal: Priya Sisters ( Shanmughapriya & Haripriya )
Shanmukhapriya and Haripriya, popularly known as the Priya Sisters, hey hail originally from Amalapuram in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. They started learning Carnatic music from their father, Sri V.V.Subbaram, at an early age. In order to nurture their musical talent, their father shifted base to Chennai. Later they became the disciples of the renowned duo Radha and Jayalakshmi who were disciples of the legendary G. N. Balasubramaniam. They learnt many nuances and subtleties of music during the five-year tenure under Radha and Jayalakshmi including the advice that the singing should be so clear that the listener should be able to notate the entire krithi. The sisters have performed together many concerts all over India and abroad touring countries like the USA, Canada etc. They have performed in a number of prestigious festivals like the Festival of Hyderabad, Duo Festival, during 69th and 70th birthday celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, World Tamil Conference to list a few concerts. The duos have also performed at the Rashtrapati Bhavan before the former President of India Sri R Venkataraman.

Thyagaraja Swami questions whether true happiness lies in material wealth or in devotion to Lord Rama. He contrasts worldly pleasures with the pure joy of singing and meditating on the Lord. External rituals and societal praise are fleeting, while divine service brings lasting bliss.

Meaning:
O My Mind!
Tell me truthfully ..
Whether wealth is very comforting or the service in the holy presence of Lord Srirama comforting?
Are curd, fresh butter and milk etc. tasty or the nectarine juice of meditation and bhajana of dasarathi tasty?
Is a bath in the (holy) river ganga called (practice of) self control and tranquility comforting or a bath in the water of well called the filthy, evil natured objects of senses comforting?
Is extolling humans bound by egotism comforting or singing songs of the pure minded Lord praised by this Thyagaraja comforting?
