Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton: Before Jordan, Two Pro Sports, One Remarkable Life

Episode #70 - There was a professional basketball player who decided he wanted to play pro baseball, many years before MJ. Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton was a star athlete from Chicago, DuSable High School and Xavier University of Louisiana, and a professional basketball player with the New York Rens and Harlem Globetrotters. Then, in 1949, he stepped onto a baseball diamond and played first base for the Chicago American Giants of the Negro leagues. A year later, Clifton made history again with the NY Knicks.
