Bad Luck

*BAD LUCK — Gary Bowman | Mississippi Hill Country Blues* Some men are born lucky. Others spend their whole lives trying to outrun trouble. Bad Luck tells the story of a man who can't seem to catch a break. Every road he travels brings another disappointment. He loses his money, his home, and the woman he loves. No matter how far he runs, bad luck always seems to find him. But after years of blaming the world for his troubles, he begins to wonder whether bad luck has been following him or whether he's been carrying it with him all along. Inspired by the raw traditions of Mississippi Hill Country blues, this song brings together a hypnotic guitar riff, primitive percussion, and the deep, weathered voice of an old bluesman. It's a story of hard living, broken promises, and the consequences of a lifetime of bad decisions. *"I spent my whole life running from a truth I never knew. That bad luck walking beside me, Lord, he wore my own damn shoes."* Discover more of my books, stories, and music: https://www.garybowmanbooks.com Subscribe for more original blues music, Southern storytelling, and songs about the struggles of everyday life. #BadLuck #GaryBowman #HillCountryBlues #MississippiBlues #TraditionalBlues
