History of Afghanistan Season 03 Complete | Reforms to Russian Invasion 1901-1979 | Faisal Warraich

#history #DekhoSunoJano #faisalwarraich At the dawn of the 20th century, Afghanistan was an impoverished, largely uneducated country in urgent need of reform. King Amanullah Khan launched ambitious modernisation programmes, including women’s emancipation, but fierce opposition from religious conservatives undermined his rule. Overthrown in 1929, he was succeeded by Nadir Shah, who was assassinated in 1933. His son, Zahir Shah, pursued gradual reforms, appointing his brother-in-law, Daoud Khan, as prime minister in 1953. A staunch supporter of the Pashtunistan movement, Daoud’s confrontations with Pakistan contributed to regional tensions until his resignation in 1963. A decade later, in July 1973, Daoud overthrew Zahir Shah, abolished the monarchy and established a republic. His new government soon clashed with the Soviet-backed People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA), while his growing ties with Pakistan and the United States strained relations with Moscow. In April 1978, the Saur Revolution brought the PDPA to power, but bitter rivalry between its Khalq and Parcham factions plunged Afghanistan into further turmoil. Khalq leaders Nur Muhammad Taraki and Hafizullah Amin marginalised Parcham leader Babrak Karmal, who was sent abroad. Hafizullah Amin later overthrew and killed Nur Muhammad Taraki, only to be himself toppled and killed in December 1979 during the Soviet invasion, which installed Babrak Karmal as leader. These coups, ideological divisions and foreign interventions marked a decisive turning point in Afghanistan’s modern history, setting the country on a path of war and instability that would continue for decades. ミ★ Must Watch ★彡 💡 History of USA 01 👉 https://bit.ly/3VDuNnj 💡 History of USA 02 👉 https://bit.ly/3CLFZFR 💡 Bio Genghis Khan 👉 https://shorturl.at/ioBY4 💡 War of 1965 👉 https://shorturl.at/juQRT 💡 Muslim Cold War 👉 https://bit.ly/3oPWfhs 💡 Unforgettable Biographies 👉 https://bit.ly/2SdS9y0 💡 Pakistan's History 👉 https://goo.gl/zmaAto 💡 Nation Powers 👉 https://goo.gl/mCmKDm 💡 Ottoman Empire 👉 https://bit.ly/2WjPQQL 💡 The Universe 👉 https://bit.ly/2ENYWKP 💡 Bio Abraham Lincoln 👉 https://bit.ly/3TAQAdC === Social Media links === 🔴 Facebook:   / janodotpk   🔵 Twitter:   / fswarraich   🟣 Instagram:   / faisal_warr.  . ❤️‍🔥 Must share your thoughts in the comments below.
