From city crews preparing our community and local businesses getting ready for the summer rush to cruise ships arriving, visitors exploring, wildlife roaming, and breathtaking views around every corner, this is what makes Valdez such a special place. With more than 40 cruise ships visiting throughout the season, Valdez welcomes travelers from around the world. RV travelers make their way into town to camp, explore, and experience the beauty of Alaska, while other visitors arrive by cruise ship, road, and sea. Together, they bring energy to our community and support the local businesses, attractions, and outdoor adventures that make Valdez unforgettable. As we close out another busy summer season, we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who made it wonderful.
