Friday at the historic Milwaukee Mile for the 2026 Snap-on INDYCAR Weekend — Vintage Indy cars on the oldest operating speedway in the world, a cruise through the paddock, and the first look at NTT INDYCAR SERIES practice. Vintage Indy™ was on track Friday afternoon and again in the evening, rolling classic open-wheel machines around the one-mile oval while modern IndyCars sat in the garage. We walked and drove the paddock as vintage speedsters sat among the transporters — yesterday’s champions next to today’s championship fight. This is the only doubleheader on the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES calendar. Saturday is the Snap-on Makers and Fixers 250. Sunday is the Snap-on Milwaukee Mile 250. The Milwaukee Mile has hosted open-wheel racing since the 1930s. Seeing vintage Indy cars back on this oval is what this weekend is about.
