Welcome to Madrid Airport, Spain's busiest airport and also one of Europes busiest airports, ranking 6th in 2024 just behind Frankfurt! Madrid is a scenic airport with stunning mountains encasing the airport offering brilliant views of the planes landing and taking off, particularly on the eastern side of the airport. Madrid is home base for Iberia and Air Europa, along with some more exotic airlines that focus on the Caribbean and Latin America routes like World2Fly, Iberojet, Plus Ultra and also Wamos! You'll see all these airlines in this video along with all their different aircraft types! This video was recorded over 2 different spotting trips to Madrid, the first being in 2021, when I filmed the Cubana IL96, Air Bridge Cargo 747, Vietnam A350, Plus Ultra A346, all of which no longer fly to MAD and haven't flown there for awhile. The second trip was at the beginning of 2024!
