What is truth? Not what we call true, but the thing underneath the word. Steven and Soraya work through Nietzsche's claim that every word is a metaphor we've forgotten was a metaphor, and Marx's answer that truth is proven in practice or not at all. Soraya holds there's a higher truth outside the constructed world. Steven holds it exists but recedes as you approach it, like a line that never meets the axis. What they agree on is stranger: whatever truth is, the moment you put it into words most of it is gone.
