Still Standin

Still Standin’ Some childhoods leave memories. Others leave questions, unanswered stories, and patterns we spend a lifetime trying to understand. Still Standin’ begins in an old honky-tonk in Lawton, Oklahoma, with a jukebox playing Merle Haggard and a baby whose story began long before he could remember it. But this song isn't just about one man's childhood. It's for everyone who remembers standing on similar ground—feeling unwanted, unheard, forgotten, or trapped in circumstances they never chose. It's about the families we loved, the wounds we carried, the places we wanted to escape, and the voices we struggled to reclaim. We don't all remember the same things. We don't all tell the same stories. And we don't all find our way out by the same road. Some of us are still trying. Like that old jukebox, we've taken a few hits, carried a few scars, and played through some difficult years. But we're still standin’.
