Hello guys! I hope you watched the full vlog. I know it looked like I was enjoying the event, but honestly, I wasn’t. A lot of things happened to me both before and after the Freshers’ Party, and the whole experience was quite different from what I expected. First of all, my skin got really irritated, and my health wasn’t great either. And as a girl, dealing with skin issues right before an event like this can definitely bring a lot of insecurities. Then, while I was on my way to college, I even got into an argument with my cab driver because the online payment option wasn’t working in his favour. He got really irritated and literally started shouting at me. Somehow, we managed to sort it out and I finally reached college. But after reaching there, I kept hearing the same question again and again: “Khushi, you’re looking like a bomb! But what happened to your skin?” I heard this more than 25 times, and honestly, it was really upsetting. I was already insecure about it, so hearing the same thing repeatedly definitely didn’t make me feel any better. Then came the actual Freshers’ event. The management, decorations, and overall arrangements were honestly not what we expected. We didn’t really get the feeling that it was a proper Freshers’ Party. And to make things worse, the AC in the auditorium wasn’t working, so obviously all the girls were getting irritated and uncomfortable. The teachers’ behaviour also wasn’t very pleasant. Some of them weren’t really polite with us, and there were even moments where we felt like we were being compared with others. And then came the Mr. Fresher results, which honestly felt very partial to us. The girl who got the title was apparently from the principal’s family, so… I think you guys can understand why we felt that way. After all of this, we decided to go somewhere outside and spend some time together, but unfortunately, we couldn’t because my health wasn’t good. But honestly, one thing I’m really grateful for is my friends. They understood how I was feeling and supported me throughout everything. I’m genuinely glad to have them with me in this typical college life. So yeah, that was my experience with my very first Freshers’ Party. It definitely wasn’t what I had imagined, and I honestly hope none of you ever have to experience a Freshers’ Party like this. Anyway, that’s my side of the story.
