Propagate Like a PRO! Rare Monstera at Mama Treehouse

Welcome back to Mama Treehouse! 🌱 In Episode 2, Mama shows us how she propagates the highly prized Monstera Iron Bone, a rare compact-form Monstera, using stem cuttings. We take several cuttings, encourage root growth with sphagnum moss, treat the cuts to help prevent rot, and pot them into a mix of chopped coconut husk and perlite. The cuttings then go into a high-humidity environment to encourage healthy growth. And the best part? I come back 3 weeks later to see how they're doing — and the results are incredibly satisfying! 🌿 Along the way, Mama shares some useful propagation techniques, including how to stabilize the cutting, keep the wound above the growing medium, and create a humid environment even if you don't have a humidity box.
