Basic Bodice pattern is the foundation pattern for types of blouse, traditional or contemporary. Basic bodice pattern can be converted to simple traditional blouse pattern and by using countering technique you can crate good fitted designer blouse. When a section of the neckline or armhole is removed, the garment loses shoulder support, causing it to shift downward into the hollow area above the bust, resulting in gaping such as deep neck blouse. 2. Empire, strapless, deep neck fitted blouse and bra-style designs have minimal or no bust definition. If not properly contoured, these designs will not fit snugly under the bust but will instead hang loosely over the hollow areas of the body. Contour designs include the empire-style line (contouring under the bust), strapless bra top (contouring over, under, and at times between the bust), surplice (contouring over and under the bust), and cut out armholes and necklines (Contouring above the bust).
