江戸三大祭・深川八幡祭り2026！神輿に大量の水が降り注ぐ「水掛けまつり」｜Fukagawa Hachiman Festival

2026年8月16日、江戸三大祭りの一つに数えられる「深川八幡祭り（富岡八幡宮例大祭）」の各町神輿連合渡御を現地で撮影しました。 深川八幡祭りは、沿道から神輿に清めの水を浴びせることから「水掛け祭り」としても知られています。2026年は3年に一度の本祭りで、各町神輿連合渡御が行われました。 今回は、神輿を水中に近い位置から捉えた迫力ある映像からスタート。 その後、門前仲町の永代通り、永代橋を渡る神輿、新川で休憩する神輿、後続の神輿が休憩所へ入る様子、神輿上げ、そして消防による放水を撮影しました。 さらに、各所で繰り広げられた水掛けを連続して収録。 最後は、祭礼関係者による水掛けで締めくくります。 沿道から飛び交う大量の水と、担ぎ手たちの「わっしょい！」の掛け声。 深川八幡祭りならではの熱気と迫力を、現地映像でご覧ください。 On August 16, 2026, I filmed the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival, one of the Three Great Festivals of Edo, during the grand mikoshi procession in Tokyo. The Fukagawa Hachiman Festival is also known as a “Water-Splashing Festival”, as spectators along the route pour cleansing water over the mikoshi and its bearers. The 2026 festival was the major once-every-three-years main festival, featuring the grand joint mikoshi procession. This video begins with a dramatic view of the mikoshi from a low, water-level position. The footage then follows the procession through Monzen-Nakacho, across Eitai Bridge, and into Shinkawa, where the mikoshi take a break. It also captures the arrival of following mikoshi, the raising of the mikoshi, and powerful water spraying by the fire department. The video continues with intense water-splashing scenes filmed at several locations. Finally, the video concludes with water splashing by festival officials.
