Sky On Talons | Epic Wyvern Battle Rock | The Drunken Immortal

Sky On Talons follows mounted defenders on Blackpine Ridge as they raise their lances against wyverns circling above the snowline. This fantasy rock battle anthem centers on the oaths that bind them to crown and home, with a repeated call to hold the mountain line. 🎵 Lyrics [Verse 1] At dawn on Blackpine Ridge We hear the rattle wings The tower bells wake the cliffs And every iron gate swings I clasp my sun-bright helm You mount your spotted gray We ride where the pine trees break To keep the dark at bay [Pre-Chorus] Above the snowline scars The wyverns circle low We raise our lances high And let the mountain know [Chorus] Sky on talons, sky on talons We do not bend, we do not fall Sky on talons, sky on talons We stand as stone, we hear the call Hold the line, hold the line For the crown and home tonight Sky on talons, sky on talons We ride the storm and make it right [Verse 2] Their smoke rolls over the pass Their claws rake through the hail But every house in the vale Still keeps our names in tales I see the torch on your cheek I hear the brass cry clear One vow for every peak No beast will rule us here [Pre-Chorus] The cliffs answer our cry The air is sharp with song The older oaths awake And lift our hearts along [Chorus] Sky on talons, sky on talons We do not bend, we do not fall Sky on talons, sky on talons We stand as stone, we hear the call Hold the line, hold the line For the crown and home tonight Sky on talons, sky on talons We ride the storm and make it right [Bridge] When the shadow blocks the sun When the last horn breaks apart I’ll meet the fire head-on With the mountain in my heart (With the mountain in my heart) [Final Chorus] Sky on talons, sky on talons We do not bend, we do not fall Sky on talons, sky on talons We stand as stone, we answer all Hold the line, hold the line Till the dawn returns in white Sky on talons, sky on talons We ride the storm and make it right Sky on talons, sky on talons Our names will ring across the heights ⚔️ From the world of The Drunken Immortal.
