CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF THE LATE CHRISTINE MBULWA MUSYOKA

BIRTH The late Christine Mbulwa Musyoka was born in 1955 at Manza village, Mung’ala Sub-location, Mumbuni North Location in Machakos County. She was the 3rd born of the late Masiku Mbili and late Priscila Kanyiva. She was sister to the late Wilson Nzomo Masiku, Solomon Mbili Masiku, Monica Titus Nzomo and Emmanuel Mwau Masiku. She was daughter-in-law to the late John Mutie and late Beth Loko Mutie. EDUCATION / WORK The late Christine joined Mung’ala Primary School between 1967 to 1973 and later joined Kasinga Primary School in 1974 where she completed her C.P.E. She proceeded to Kyanguli Secondary School where she completed K.S.C.E between 1975 to 1978. She trained as an adult education teacher and worked from 1979 to 2018 when she retired. MARRIAGE The late Christine got married to her beloved husband the late Gedion Musyoka Mutie in 1981 as the second wife. They were blessed with 9 children; 5 sons and 4 daughters namely; Elijah Ndambuki, Florence Mbeti, Alex Mutie, Sammy Mutua, Beth Loko, Caro Kanyiva, Brian Ngei, Timothy Muinde and Everlyne Ndunge. She was mother-in-law to Alfred, Fred, Maitha, Abdul, Christine and Elizabeth. CHRISTIAN LIFE The late Christine was a devoted member of ABC Mutituni until her demise. ILLNESS / DEMISE The late Christine Mbulwa developed health complication where she was diagnosed with high blood pressure. She was treated in different hospitals namely; Kijabe Hospital, Shalom Hospital, Mutituni Level 4 Hospital, Mutituni Hope Clinic and Machakos Level 5 Hospital. On Tuesday 18th July 2023 her health deteriorated and was taken to Machakos Level 5 Hospital for treatment. At around 11.00am on Wednesday 19th July, 2023 she succumbed while undergoing treatment. She died at the age of 65 years. She has left behind 5 sons, 4 daughter and many grandchildren. May the Almighty rest her soul in eternal peace.
