🚴‍♂️ Northbound — Part 4 | Marina del Rey to Santa Monica Pier 🌊 We’re back on the Marvin Braude Bike Trail (The Strand) for the next leg of our northbound journey! This ride begins in Marina del Rey and follows the coastline north toward one of Southern California’s most recognizable destinations — Santa Monica Pier. As we leave Marina del Rey behind, the trail leads us toward Venice Beach, where the scenery and atmosphere change dramatically. We pass through the heart of the Venice beachfront area, with the famous Venice Beach Boardwalk, beachside activity, and the unmistakable character that makes Venice one of the most recognizable places along the Southern California coast. Continuing north, we make our way along the beachfront toward Santa Monica, with the Pacific Ocean beside us and the Santa Monica coastline stretching ahead. The ride finishes at the Santa Monica Pier, one of the most iconic landmarks on the California coast. This is another great section of the Marvin Braude Bike Trail — and one where the scenery, people, and personality of the coastline really begin to change as we head north. 🚴‍♂️ Marina del Rey → Venice Beach → Santa Monica → Santa Monica Pier Come along for the ride and experience this section of the coast from the bike path!
