Winter Storm Hot Tent Solo Overnighter

It was a beautiful, snowy, windy night at the tent. Come and join me as I hunker down for the night and eat some fine food. --- Where do I live? Northern Canada. How much experience do I have? That depends. I am pretty good at starting a fire these days and gathering wood. But I don't really have true bushcraft skills and definitely no carpentry or construction skills or training. I could probably make a shelter if I had to, but that would just come from all the YouTube training (watching) over the years. What gear do I use?
