Subaru Forester STi (SG9) - Spirited Hakone Drive with Mt. Fuji Views

Come along for a road trip through Japan! Today, we’re taking a spirited POV drive in a rare 2004 Subaru Forester STi (SG9) through the legendary roads of Hakone. This route has some of the best views of Mt. Fuji, a mix of flowing sweepers and tight corners, and the perfect backdrop of autumn foliage. This Forester STi isn’t mine - it's a rental from the wonderful team at NRT Rent-A-Car. The car is completely stock aside from a very sweet-sounding STi Genome exhaust. Please excuse the occasional commentary... we were genuinely in awe of the views. And for the record, I’m most certainly not a professional driver - between that, the unfamiliar roads, the luggage in the back, the girlfriend in the passenger seat, and the simple fact that it wasn’t my car, I kept things spirited but still respectful.
