Learn a simple method for fermenting banana plants into homemade pig feed using traditional farming techniques. This practical method uses chopped banana stems and leaves, rice bran, and beneficial fermentation cultures to make use of natural farm resources and help reduce pig feeding costs. 🌿🐖
Welcome back to my peaceful farm life!
Today, I'm going to show you how I prepare fermented pig feed using banana plants harvested from around my farm.
First, I chop the banana stems and leaves into small pieces. Then, I mix them with bran and a fermentation starter to prepare a batch of homemade pig feed.
Using locally available plants is one of the traditional farming methods I enjoy practicing on my small farm. It helps me make better use of natural resources while working toward reducing the cost of raising my pigs.
In this video, you'll see the preparation process step by step, from chopping the banana plants to mixing the ingredients for fermentation.
I hope this simple farming experience gives you some useful ideas for preparing your own animal feed.
Thank you so much for watching and supporting my farming journey! ❤️
