Victoria Square toilets, Hull HL Shires Rubberwell

The convenience opened in 1925 under the Queen Victoria statue to replace an older convenience located at street level which was demolished as it was part of the site to be cleared for the Ferens Art Gallery. There is what looks like a Shires Rubberwell with front overflow still in here with the rest being Dudley Tri-wells. The setting was too busy to do a room shoot.
