How to Repair Agitator Dogs On A Whirlpool Washing Machine.

This video will show you how to repair the agitator dogs on your Whirlpool direct drive washing machine. The common symptom for this problem is when during washing, your bottom agitator works fine, but the top agitator does not turn properly. NOTE: Most agitators will have a thrust spacer between the top and bottom agitators. Keep it if you have one! Ours did not have one for some reason, even when the dogs were first replaced in 2002, but it has not affected the operation of the agitator after all these years, so I'm not concerned. :)
