As cherry blossom began to bloom, Palmy is dressed up with pink gorgeous dress made by beautiful sakura flowers. Last weekend was what we personally called SAKURA WEEKEND, because there're two big cherry blossom event on Saturday and Sunday in IPU college and Square respectively. On Sunday, we participated in the celebration of sakura and the coming of spring at city square, enjoyed Japanese drum and dance performance, kimono-dressed-up photo-taking, and troditional calligraphy which was so interesting that Bai, a Chinese, was guided by a Kiwi people to learn how to write Japanese Kanji which are derived from Chinese characters. Anyway, those activities were really fun and we also met some friends at the venue. Very nice day!
