A Gentle Night of Rest 🌙 Chinese Healing Sleep Music | Guqin & Xiao | ZHONG YAWANG 钟雅望

Welcome to ZHONG YAWANG 钟雅望. Tonight, let the lights grow softer, let the old village become quiet, and let the sound of traditional Chinese instruments carry you gently into rest. “A Gentle Night of Rest” is a collection of 8 original instrumental pieces inspired by the quiet everyday life of the Sichuan countryside. Instead of distant landscapes and grand scenery, this collection focuses on the warmth of ordinary life: an old courtyard under one lantern, rain falling on tiled roofs, the scent of ripe rice at dusk, a glowing hearth late at night, a cool breeze moving across a bamboo mat, tea lingering in an old village lane, and the quiet understanding shared between kindred souls. Traditional instruments featured in this collection: • Guqin 古琴 • Xiao Flute 箫 • Guzheng 古筝 • Erhu 二胡 • Xun 埙 • Pipa 琵琶 This music is suitable for: 🌙 Deep Sleep 🌿 Relaxation & Healing 🧘 Meditation 📖 Reading & Study ☕ Quiet Evening Time 💤 Sleep Preparation 🏡 Peaceful Background Music My music is inspired by the warmth of rural Sichuan: old tiled houses, small courtyards, tea tables, rice fields, lamplight, rain, and the quiet connection between people. In Chinese culture, “知音 — Zhi Yin” describes someone who truly understands the sound of your heart. Through music, I hope to preserve that feeling of understanding, companionship, home, and peace. If these sounds bring you a moment of calm, welcome to subscribe to ZHONG YAWANG 钟雅望. May tonight be quiet. May your heart feel lighter. May you sleep well. —— ZHONG YAWANG 钟雅望 Original music composer inspired by the countryside of Sichuan, China. © Copyright Notice All music in this video is originally composed for ZHONG YAWANG 钟雅望.
