The Amway is finally somewhat usable compared to the last video it was in over a year ago! Shop vacs included because I know some people like shop vacs and there aren't that many old ones on youtube. Besides, they both happen to be in the same room so why not include them! I really like the black one, just because it was the 1st shop vac I used and it has that fancy speed control.Central vacs are a waste; you have to lug the long hose around and plug in the pn(unless you want turbine garbage) and then you have to go to wherever the vac is to empty it, and if it's in the basement, you have to carry a huge tub of nasty dirty up and out side to empty it. And how to you empty a full bin that size without making a mess? you don't. Not to mention if it's used a lot, you'd have to frequently check the bin fullness. Much easier to look down at a dust bin or open a bag cover on a vac right in front of you than it is to have to go somewhere else to check that!! If you have any ideas on what to use to seal the open space in the Amway between the housing and the motor, let me know. Also, please let me know if you can figure out mfg dates on the shop vacs based on the serial #'s. ***There will also be a video following shortly showing both shop vacs in action along with the Amway.
