Let's build a DC motor from a coffee can (Motors #1)

A brushed 2-pole DC motor is one of the simplest kinds of motors. Let's build one together with a coffee can, some wire, and 2 magnets. Note: Cutting apart a coffee can create sharp shards of metal.
