Sailing Lake Moogerah in a heron dinghy - QLD Australia #heronsailing #woodenboats

Wiwirri, our classic wooden heron dinghy, went on a huge adventure to the exquisite Lake Moogerah, a man-made dam in the Scenic Rim region of Queensland. The day was a delightful 28 degrees Celsius, with light southerly winds of 5-8knots. The Kids Afloat spent the day rocketing around the lake with their Uncle and cousins in their powerboat. We explored all of the lake’s delights, including Jump Rock Gorge, a secret swimming hole with waterfalls and cliff jumping. Thanks to Glen for the extra footage.
