The Horrifying Poetry of the Nether

I explore the connections between Minecraft’s deadliest dimension, the Nether, and a beautiful poem from 700 years ago, The Inferno by Dante Alighieri. This is part of the World of Words series in which I play ultra hardcore Minecraft (no natural regeneration) and relate what I experience to the philosophy and literature I know and love.
