As always, I put to practice the apostle Paul's command in 2nd Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved of God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” This video has two segments: 1. A bird’s eye view of the OT. 2. Matthew thru John – the gospels rightly divided. So, let’s begin with a bird’s eye view of the OT. Previously in Ephesians ch. 2, we learned that the apostle Paul divides the Bible into three time periods; “time past”, “But now” and “ages to come”. God’s timeline begins with Genesis and continues through the Book of Revelation. The books of the Bible are in God’s perfect order and reflect His dealings with mankind both historically and yet future.
