Samuel and Elizabeth Bricker had 9 children. 5 of which survived into adulthood. In 1906, Samuel Bricker, his wife Elizabeth and 5 children arrived in the Amity district in Alberta. Here they built a house, farmed and ran a livery and threshing crews. They were a well respected and hard working family. Their only daughter, Gussie, passed away at 30. Another son moved away. Samuel passed away in Victoria B.C. while the rest of the boys and their mother lived and worked in the Amity area until their deaths. The house and land were sold. Passed hands until the house fell into disrepair and left to the harsh prairie winds.
